Incorporated in 1968, Jomar celebrates its 45th year at the K Show in Dusseldorf, Germany this year. Jomar will be exhibiting at the K show for the 11th time and proudly pronounces the theme for this year’s show to be “Celebrating 45 Years of Excellence.”

Jomar staff will be on hand to discuss its long history as an industry leader, but will also be talking about the future as they demonstrate Jomar’s new hybrid machine. This machine replaces the plastifier and indexing head that is normally driven by hydraulics with electrically-powered motors. This has reduced the machine’s carbon footprint and decreased power consumption by approximately one-third.

One of Jomar’s notable milestones that will be discussed at the show is that with over 2,000 machines manufactured, more than half of the injection blow molding machines in use today were built by Jomar. All these machines are still supported by Jomar’s service department.

Jomar has also never built an obsolete machine. Due to Jomar’s manufacturing and design process, all machines can receive upgrades to accept new operating systems and other modern technology. This is one of the reasons that Jomar regularly received inquiries from customers about having their existing machines refurbished, despite being over 25 or 30 years old.

As the manufacturer of the world’s finest injection blow molding machinery, Jomar will have lots to talk about at this year’s K Show. Visit us in Hall 14, Booth Number 14A32. Email Ron Gabriele with any questions or to schedule an appointment with a Jomar representative at the show.
