Three Italian-made precision accumulator head and seven continuous extrusion models will be available from Jomar to blow molders in North America.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J., July 27, 202 – Jomar Corporation, the leading global manufacturer of injection blow molding (IBM) machinery, just signed an agreement with AUTOMA by MAGIC srl to be the exclusive distributor of the company’s extrusion blow molding (EBM) machines in North America. The deal provides Jomar with 10 new EBM machines to sell to its US and Canadian customers and prospects.

“The injection blow molding market continues to be strong for us worldwide, “ notes Carlos Castro, President of Jomar, “but this latest generation of AUTOMA by MAGIC EBM machines gives us a solid range to offer North American processors.”

According to Gianluca Maini, Sales and R&D Manager for AUTOMA by MAGIC srl, “Like our company, Jomar has decades of specialized blow molding machinery expertise. We could not find a better partner to expand our presence in North America.”

AUTOMA has sold over 3,500 extrusion blow molding machines around the world since the 1970s. Recently, the company upgraded its simple hydraulic machines with the latest EBM technology, including its own UNIKO 2.0® PLC and software. The results caught the notice of executives at Jomar who were looking for reliable complementary ways to expand its offerings.

“Not every application calls for the high precision and tight tolerance capabilities of injection blow molding,” says Ron Gabriele, Sales and Marketing Manager of Jomar. “The AUTOMA by MAGIC EBM distribution deal creates some nice synergy with our own proprietary IBM technologies and opens up some new customer opportunities for us.”

Jomar will be offering the following AUTOMA by MAGIC EBM accumulator head models in North America for the production of plastic containers and technical products: the AE 25 (28 tons); the AE 35 S (39 tons); and the AE 50 S (55 tons). In addition, Jomar will offer seven different continuous extrusion shuttle machines for blow molding plastic containers: the AT 2 DH (8 tons); the AT 10 SH (17 tons); the AT 255 DH (2.3 tons); the AT 400 DH (8 tons); the AT 480 DH (11/18 tons); the AT 700 DH (29 tons); and the AT 700 DHJC (33 tons), a special version of the AT 700 DH specifically for producing stackable Jerry cans.

The new AUTOMA by MAGIC machines will be immediately and exclusively available from Jomar to customers and prospects in North America. This includes full technical support and spare parts availability. Jomar is one of the Indel companies owned by Inductotherm Industries (Rancocas, NJ), which has built over half of the induction furnaces around the globe.

Jomar will feature the AUTOMA by MAGIC EBM machines at the K Show, October 19-26, 2022 in Dusseldorf, Germany. It will have an AE 25 accumulator head model on the floor in Hall 14, Stand A32.
